The Story of Boardcation
It didn’t start as a brand — it started as an escape.
How It All Began
Boardcation was never meant to be a clothing brand. It started with early mornings, ice-cold steering wheels, throwing surfboards or snowboards into the back of a car, chasing swells and fresh mountain powder. No emails. No clocks. Just maps, gas station coffee, and friends who were always down for one more run.
We called it a “boardcation” — a break from life, with nothing but boards, weather reports, and the hope that the waves or snow would hold when we got there.
The Moments That Built Us
- Sunrise surf checks when the ocean was still glass.
- Snowboarding until our legs burned, crashing in vans or small cabins.
- Wax-stained board bags, duct-taped gloves, wet wetsuits over fences.
- Long drives, loud music, sleeping in cars just to do it again at dawn.
These weren’t vacations. They were boardcations — and they became our lives.
When It Became More Than a Trip
People started asking for shirts — not because of a logo, but because they wanted to wear the feeling. The freedom of saltwater hair and mountain air. The lifestyle of choosing roads over routines.
So we made a few tees, just for friends. No big drops. No giant warehouse. Just a small idea on quality fabric. We kept going — slowly, intentionally, the same way we ride.
Where We Are Now
Boardcation is still small — and that’s on purpose. No fast fashion, no chasing trends. Just good people making gear for surfers, snowboarders, and anyone who feels at home chasing the next horizon.
“This isn’t a brand. It’s a lifestyle you already live — we just put a name to it.”
